64 f250 wiring issues
Hi I have a 64 f250 with a 292, it just started the truck one day and the starter would not stop turning over. I let the clutch out and disconnected the battery, this was fine for a week, did it again, replaced the ignition switch, was fine for a couple days, did it again, replaced the solenoid, now when i turn the key to on, it starts cranking, if I turn the key off, the ignition light stays on. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for these trucks? I am thinking i have melted wires somewhere.

Darn electrical gremlins are a pain in the backside, usually find anyone's guess is as good as another when it comes to tracing down the varments. Majority of the cases I end up spending a day on usually stem from a faulty ground. May want to make sure connections at starter relay are secure and wires not frayed. Here's a link to an website with the 64 F100-F750 wiring diag. I have the manual for the 65, not sure if same, can post a particular circuit if needed.
