351m cuts out...
i have 78 f150 ranger lariat editon 4x4 with the 351M it starts up but as soon as i hit the gas it shuts right off and also it keeps burning out solenoid's and also it smokes out of the driver side pipe... what is going on??

It'll take a bit more description than that...could be anything from a carb problem to an electrical problem from what you told us. Give us a few more details.

When you say "shuts right off" do you mean that it completely kills it, just like you shut off the key? Or does it sputter first?
