well guys i just ordered a scan gaugeII. I was kinda torn between the dashdaq and the scangaugeII. I will eventually get the autoenginuty.I just couldnt see paying for the dashdaq and the autoenginuty maybe the dashdaq will come down in price in the future. Mostly i liked the size of it and the fact it will get my EOT and ECT. I will also get a fuel psi gauge setup going been reading the thread on the glowshift gauges those seem to be ok. how do you guys like your scangaugeII is it accurite. What eles will it monitor
I have mine set to ECT, EOT, Trans temp, and volts. I somtimes switch it over to MAF to check boost. There is a thred on here describing how you can get the SCII to read true boost by subtracting the barometric pressure from the reading. I just do it in my head.
For what it costs, it is very handy to have. I do have AE too for reading codes though. SCII will not read the CAN codes.

If you hit the red button and then the scan button it will read codes.
