My stock ones are getting tired after 223,743 miles 3 of them won't pass the contribution test and I dought the rest are working as well as they once did. They all pass the buzz test and I was wondering if they could be rebuilt, if so how long does it take.
It starts right up and drives "ok" but it should have more power than it does.
You can feel it in the idle. 3,4 and 8 have a rotational velocity problem that will follow the injector if moved to another cylinder, Well I did't move #8 cause it's an LL.
If you are ready for injectors I can help you, but if you want to squeeze some more mileage out of the stockers you might see if you are running a grey CPS.
I replaced the grey cps with the black one today, No changes. I drives ok and still pulls my fifth wheel, It just does'nt have the power it should. Replaced the air filter also "big blue one" it helped alot. The filterminder still said it was good.

Reason: speln
Well, if you are ready you can get yours remanned or you can pay a core charge so you don't have any down time. You can also take this opportunity to upgrade to single shots if you choose.
cost is more important than down time right now, Although I need the truck for another week. After that it could be down awhile. I don't think want to go any bigger or get a chip.
I was thinking more on the lines of having "my" injectors rebuilt. I asked in the NV chapter about someone local that was good, but didn't get any replies. So I am asking here thinking about shipping them out to be rebuilt, is it cheaper that way? Mine all work, I think they just don't flow at the same rate anymore.
