Need SMOG Help (headers)
I'm trying to connect the hose from the snorkel part of the air cleaner (I have the hose) that would typically connect to the exhaust manifold on the passenger side. The problem is that the engine has headers.
I have heard that there is a way to make it look like it is connected to the header using some kind of bracket or flange. Is there an after market smog header bracket I could create?
It makes sense what needs to happen, but I've never seen it, so I'm not sure how to go about it.
Thanks FTE!

I made the one on my truck using a short piece (2") of exhaust tubing that slipped inside the hot air tube, and a 4"x1/2" piece of 16 ga metal. With the 16 ga. "strap" laid flat I welded an open end of the tube to it, after centering the tube on the on the strap and centering the strap on the tube. You should have about 1" of strap beyond the sides of the tube. Use a couple large hose clamps to mount this assembly to a header tube, install the hot air tube between it and the air cleaner and you are done.
Hope this helps.
