Kicking around the idea of swapping my Michelin's. I need a good tire that performs well in the snow since I will be spending a lot of time towing my sled trailer around the U.P.
The Wrangler DuraTrac looks like a decent option. Opinions?
I like the good ole BFG AT's they are not going to last as long as michelins, I would get about 42k on michelins and 36k out of the BFG AT's but at least I had a tire that had some traction. and the AT's are great in the snow.
Just put 35 Duratracs on my Hummer H3 and love em so far. I am thinking of putting them on the 6.7 also. They are quite aggressive and are quieter than I expected. They are snowflake rated and are supposed to be great in deep snow....which I will be able to comment on soon up here in Montana. I had BFG AT's on the old truck and loved them too. The Duratracs are not as quiet as the BFG's, but then again look at the tread pattern.
