2011-2012 Excursion
Sorry to bother with this inquiry but I was trying to find information on the new 2011-12 excursions - I thought there was a thread for this but I cant seem to find it (Did someone remove it?) - I was curious to know if ford was going to put the 6.7 as an option.

There's no such thing as a 2011-2012 Excursion. Ford stopped making them with the '05 model year.
You're probably thinking of the thread showing a customized 250/350 that looks like the Ex.

I thought I read where Ford was going to start producing them again in 2011 - Can anyone confirm this? - I would have bet anything on it - However I Don't remember where I found this information - Help please.

Ford is not producing the Ex, like Stewart H said they stopped in '05
the only option for a "new excursion" is a conversion superduty,
www_custom autos by tim_com ( take out the spaces and add .) has them, there are many threads in this forum about them (search feature of this site is helpful)
they are new and only $80k and up....

or, find a good 2000-2005 with low miles and keep it out of the salt. Should last you a good long time.
Ford isn't going to make another Excursion. There may be something similar come along in the future, but it's highly unlikely the name will ever resurface.

A while back someone posted a link to something that looked like a news article, or press release or something that looked "official" stating that Ford was all set to bring the Excursion back on line. That's probably what he's thinking of.

There was also a link on the homepage about a 2011 Excursion for a while as well. It had no real info on it.

Ok thanks - I thought I was going nuts I knew I saw it someplace so is it bs - or premature speculation, or is it official news and ford doesnt want to let the cat out of the bag?
