Whining noise

Whining noise
I have recently bought a 2005 F350 6.0L Diesel (automatic) and noticed there is a whining noise that appears to be coming from the drive shaft or tranny.. Ford told me it was probably the turbo and dont worry. Nothing seems to be operating poorly, but its slightly annoying. My dad has a 2006 F250 Diesel 4X4 automatic (no noise) and my grandpa has a 2005 F350 Diesel 5speed (no noise) anyone got any answers for me???
