losing pulling power?????HELP PLZ
ok so i bought a 97 f350 crew cab, psd,dually.she runs GREAT until u put a load behind her.she seems to have the power(spins rear tires in 1st and 2nd)so i haul in 4th gear because if i put it in 5th it falls on its face.i put in a new lift pump and turbo.Its been to the shop and they said it needs a turbo.so i bought a new one with a banks wheel and still not really noticeable.So im buying some stainless exhaust and a programmer for it hoping this will do the trick.Any suggestions?thanks

The banks "wicked wheel" is the same as the stock wheel for our turbos. The 99+ turbos will see improvement with it.
I would start with a 6637 intake and at least a 3" downpipe. A full exhaust will help, but the downpipe is the main restriction.
After intake/exhaust then get gauges to monitor EGT's and Boost to make sure you keep everything where it should be.
Then get a good chip from PHP, TW, or DP Tuner. I love my PHP chip. 6 Positions ranging from stock, high idle, 35hp heavy tow, 60hp econo, 100hp perf, and 140hp extreme (you won't get full use of 80+hp tunes without stage I injectors though).
After that you should be in good shape and ready for bigger projects like Injectors, turbo, etc. if you want to go that far (which you will once you get PMS, Powerstroke Mod Syndrome).
