07 HID ?s

ive got an 07 f250 so on so on. i was thinking of doin an HID conversion for headlight and foglights. question is what type bulb for both headlight and fog light? also for the headlight do i order high/low beam kit cause i dont think that theres 2 diff lights for it? i thought it was just one bulb per headlight? kit is from ddmtuning.com if someone could go there and run through the options to tell me what i need to order for both?

I have an 06 and have been thinking of doing the same. Here is what I researched so far. As fare as the headlight, it is either a sealed beam or an H13 bulb. I have not checked mine yet but the best way is to pop the hood and see if you can take the bulb out from the back. Usually you would do this by disconecting the wire harness at the heatlight, unsrew the light itself about a 1/3 turn and the bulb should come out, assuming its not a sealed beam. This will let you know the type of headlight bulb.

As for the fog light bulb I am not sure.

From what I understand about HID's is that there are 2 types. 1: you can get just regular HID (but you loose your hi beams) or 2: you can get the Hi/low HID kit which can either have HID regular and a xenon hi beam or in the case of the phillips HID kits the bulb itself angles to shoot the beam farther.

I know I havent fully answered your question but since no one else has answered I thought I would atleast try to help. This is from what I understand from my research into buying HID's. If anyone can correct me please do.

I have an 07 an the headlights are H13 and the fogs are 9145 (35watt) or you can up them to a 9005 (55 watt) because the are a direct fit and a lot brighter.
The Retro Solutions kits are very good are not badly priced.
