Anyone seen this behavior?

I just purchased an '09 F150 FX4. Ever since driving it home from the dealership, I noticed that I was having to reset the passenger side mirror. After investigating, I've found that when I click on "unlock" on the keyfob, the right mirror (just the glass part) moves all the way to the outside. I can reset it with the controller in the truck, and it stays. The next time I lock and unlock the truck with the keyfob, it moves back out again.

Anyone else seen this type of behavior?

Thanks.

Bryan

Page 151 of the OM?

Memory seat/power mirrors/adjustable pedals (Two-button switch) (if equipped)
This system allows automatic positioning of the driver seat, outside rearview mirrors and adjustable pedals to two programmable positions.
The memory seat control is located on the driver’s seat.
• To program position one, move the driver seat, exterior mirrors and adjustable pedals to the desired positions using the associated controls. Press and hold control button 1 for at least two seconds.
• To program position two, repeat the previous procedure using control button 2.
A position can only be recalled when the transmission gearshift is in Park (automatic transmission). A memory seat position may be programmed at any time.

What took you so long to answer?

To the OP, be sure to give reps for the fast answer. (can't give them myself at this time.)

If you hit the unlock button on your fob within 3 secs after performing the aforementioned, you will "de-program" the fob to that specific setting being 1 or 2. To reprogram, perform the same but hit the lock button on your fob.
