I have a 1990 F-150 Thinking about putting 16" wheels on it from a 1997 expidtion the only thing I see different is the size of the studs 1/2" verses 12mm can they be drilled out to 1/2" ? it's a really close fit

Yes, the Gen 1 Lightning guys do it all the time...best to use a stepped drillbit....
