New 77' crew cab!
77' crew cab short bed. rust free. missing the front glass and the rear window. interior is clean, body straight. no motor. missing tons of random parts. but its 4wd with the highboy style power steering assist. has a t case and trans and axles.
best part 100$ cash!
my plan. salvage the cab and bed and put the cab on my 78' long bed frame. shorten the bed to 4ft. pretty excited about the project. I really like the look of the crew cab on a std. cab long bed frame. around town where i live, there is a 92 ford crew cab with a 4ft bed driving around and it looks pretty cool. pictures to come soon.

just went and looked at the truck again today. found some good news. its a factory highboy, divorced transfer case, and all the drivelines are there, and it has a transmision in the truck. front looks to be a dana 60 rearend is missing 3rd member. the bed is in rough shape but i have a clean rust free 8ft box i can bob and shorten.
Also the rear cab mounts BOLT to the frame. so that means i can just drill holes and fit and bolt those onto my frame.
Should be a fun project. Ive always liked the look of a crew cab on a std. cab long bed frame!

yeah. i think the front end is a dana 60 and the rear might be a dana 60 or 70. the rear end only has axles and a housing. but it doesnt matter to me.
I am swapping the cab and bobbing the bed to fit onto a 79 2wd half ton frame.
