2wd diff offset on 4.0L Ranger 8.8 axle

Hello all,

I need help with some measurements. I'd like to use the 8.8 axle from a 2 wheel drive 4.0L Ford ranger in a project car. I need to know what the offset is of the rear diff case (pumkin..pick your terminology). I know the 4x4 version is a 2 inch offset and believe that the 2wd version might be a 1 inch offset measurements of each axle tube from an easily explained fixed point to fixed point would be great!

E-mail me at fordluvr@juno.com
