I know some folks have asked about swapping in the 2002-style jewel headlamps with older style, such as that on my 2000 F250 SuperDuty. It can be done and it is indeed a straight bolt-on, according to my local parts dealer. I think the part numbers are:
2C3Z13008AA
2C3Z13008AB
And, for the side markers, which are different on the new style as well:
2C3Z13200AA
2C3Z12201AA
The question I have, is my dealership is quoting me $182.00 each for the headlamps and $69.55 for the side markers. Anyone have a line on a more reasonably-priced source?
You can try www.procarparts.com they have the SD diamond cut euro clear front signal lights for $32.99 incl. bulbs. They also have a 4pc euro projector lights with signal lights for $299.00, this set up looks sweet.

Wow, they do look sweet. For everyone's convenience, here's what AB is talking about (q: direct swap??):
I found the following info on the www.gosracing.com site.
Sounds like a complete kit but i also requested info on the install to see if you need any special mods.
APC Projector Headlights
These headlights not only look good, they are a vast improvement over your stock lights. With three bulbs, high beam, low beam and fog lights, you are sure to light up the night. Designed to fit Ford trucks and Excursions from 99 and up. Kit comes complete with wiring harness and switch for fog lights.
$309
They bolt right in, no mods at all. Again if the clear corners do not have the amber square clearence marker they are illegal in most states. Depends are where you live as to weather or not you will get hassled. Mine are the illegal type but I also live in a place where that is not an issue. I got my clear corners from evilbay $15 and the 2002 headlamps from a dealer for about $265 for both. Shop around.
Um, Doug, when you say "they bolt right in", which set are you talking about? (hehe--I've gotten myself confused with all the sets we've talked about so far!)
hey X,
The following is the response I received from tech rep at gosracing about the projector lights:
Manny,
The only mod needed is to cut-out some of the area behind the light the
accommodate the extra depth of the APC lights. Other than that, they are a
direct replacement and plug into the stock wiring harness. JS.
Hope this helps with all the confusion . Would have put pics of the stuff I found, but I just haven't got up to speed on how to post pics
