Hard Starting When Warm
Just got my van back from a mechanic, they came up with a P2291 fault code in the continuous memory. 2005 6.0 Power Stroke, ICP tested good, IPR % going too high. What could this be? Starts great when cold, runs great. Oil level was high from the shop that changed my oil, had them remove about 1 1/2 qts, seems to start beter. My dip stick handle is broke, would that have anything to do with it? My BMW runs rough when the dipstick is open. Any ideas are welcome, thanks.

If you think the dip stick hole being open has something to do with your problem, just plug it up with a wadded up plastic bag and see if that makes any difference. Then make a trip to the Junk Yard and get a new dip stick.........keeping your oil level correct is one of the most important service elements there is on a vehicle.......can't be done without a dipstick.
