Anyways can you guys tell me the difference from an f100 to an f150 and an f250. Sorry for simple questions but im learning. Also what exactly is the Ranger edition. Thanks, hope you guys can help me out somehow.
The F100,150,250,350 basically refers to the trucks GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating), in other words, an F350 can tow / haul more than an F250 since it would have stiffer springs and heavier duty axles etc., whereas my F100 has very "car like" suspension. If I stand on my step bumper the rearend will squat. I also have a 72 Chevy C20 (similar to an F250) when I stand on that step bumper it hardly squats an inch.
This doesn't mean anything when it comes to engine size though. I've seen F350's with 6 cylinders and F100 with the larger V8's.
The Ranger is basically a trim / option package. Mine is a Custom and the only options are V8, automatic trans, power steering and AM radio, period. A Ranger would have more chrome, better interior etc. Someone may chime in a bit later to clarify somemore.
