Spark Plug Heat Ranges

So I was looking for spark plugs for my 00 mountaineer today and while I was browsing autolite's website, i found something interesting.

the 300, 302, 460 all take a heat range of 5. the 351 on the other hand takes a heat range of 4. Why is this?

I thought this would be an easy one. Or at least there would be some speculation. Nobody has anything?
