Mike, So you have had the Gibson Exhaust for about a month now - any updates? Have you seen any better fuel/hp gains? I wouldn't think much - but sometimes little things surprise you..

Hi Byram
The Gibson is working well for me. Nice low rumble but next to none on drone. The engine seems to like it and is more free revving. I have not had much of a chance to really monitor the economy part of it but lie o meter seems to like it

I am working on the AFE intake this week as my parts are all here to install complete and then we will retune for it. So i was going to see what an intake and exhaust would do for power and some economy together.

did your stock exhaust do that ???
The 3V V10 liked to fart out the tailpipe also.

Overall the system looks good. It would have been nice if Gibson retained the 3 1/2" tailpipe size however.

Not a big fan of the louvers to be honest. Smooth, perforated tube would probably perform better. Sounds pretty nice though.

Gibson Performance Exhaust - Trucks, SUV, Diesel, RV, and Marine. Performance Exhaust for the Enthusiast

Anyone know if there is a volume difference between the "swept side" and the "dual sport" Set up?
I like the dual sport look but havent seen any write ups on it like what Mike has done here with the swept side...I want rumble with no drone.
also Mike I just installed the tuner I bought from you. Will I need to modify or get a new map from you once I install exhaust? I am running the 89 performance tune now.
Ohh and on a side note will it hurt to run 87 octane with the 89 tune?
Thanks
Jamie
