i got a 2003 f250. its got the 40 20 40 seats, i guess thats what you call it, but anyways its got the middle seat/ fold down center console. i guess theres a broken bracket or something but everytime i put my elbow on it it wabbles as a driver and as a passenger its fine. anyone know how to fix this?!
Mine does the same thing. The broken part seems to be on the passengers side but it moves when you push on th drivers side front corner. I've tried to find a diagram to show what's broken but haven't had any luck.
Ford dealerships have piles of exploded view diagrams. You can just ask them to print it out for you and have a very good picture of where everything is.
I have the same problem in my 2003 f250... center console sinks down in the front left corner when you lean on it and squeaks like theres no tomorrow. would really like to fix that, hope someones done this before
Has anyone looked at the Plastic below the hinges that it hasn't cracked? I put to much pressure on mine and that is what cracked and now when I rest my arm on it it seem to flex slightly. Thinking of trying some JB weld to strengthen that area.
My 2008 did the same thing. I took it in to the dealer and they removed the center console/seat to look at it. They had to replace the armrest and brackets that holds the armrest to the seat.
