This summer, whenever I get into the truck and turn the A/C on, it smells bad for maybe 2 or 3 min. Then it clears up, but if I shut the truck off, leave it sit for a little bit and then turn it back on, the smell returns for another few minutes. Any idea what would cause this? Any ideas on how to get rid of it? It didn't do this last summer or in the winter....
I think it's the nature of the beast..... I have it too. Which position do you use? All the way to left or the one next up? If you use recirculate, it doesn't smell. (All the way left) - ... but it IS louder. In other Ford cars I think that's called "MAX A/C"
if your running in the max position you are recirculating all the smells in the truck, including flatulence. run the a-c setting unless it's unbearable hot outside.
