4180 trans kickdown
I bought a carb on e-bay to replace mine. I have a 84 f150 with a 351W 4 barr auto transmision. The carb I bought is for a standard transmission. Will it work? What do I have to do to make it work?

Could check the holley website.....I believe there is an adapter that is made to allow you to mate a auto trans......
Maybe try looking in a junkyard for older ford trucks...and snag the part.

Hey had the same problem. I bought a 5.0 out of a 83 mustang and rebuilt it. It had a factory aluminum intake and 4 barrel Holley. Had it rebuilt also but when I got it in my 84 f-150 the passing gear in the transmission would not work. No Kickdown. I bought a new Holley to replace it. Got a rebuilt one if you need another.
