I could but I'm always at work which kills me on family time so I would just rather buy a kit of some sort

seriously man, you don't need a snorkel. you want a snorkel, but have no real use for it. that motor would be taking a dirt nap before it ever got in water deep enough to need a snorkel. sensors+water=not running

if you are serious, sit back and think for a bit. it takes a lot more than just a snorkel to seal up a motor. i don't even wanna think about trying to keep 8 coil packs dry and functioning.

its a shame to take a superduty and cut hole in the fender and run a snorkel to make it into a mall crawler.

even if you cut off the tube and didn't cut a hole in the fender, you still have to drill for mounting hardware. and i'm sure it will rub on the paint causing an eventual rust prone area, all to "look" better. and contrary to popular belief, "offroad" equipment kills resale value. it might "look" cool, but it's a waste of time and money if it doesn't have a functional purpose for being there.

my $0.02
