Today I got help from a friend but we could not get my rebuilt 1984 351w to start or even fire.I have been working on it for a long time and replaced most of it's guts as well as new distributor, module and carburetor. when I acquired the engine all it the wiring was missing.
to make access to the engine easier I removed all the sheet metal (cab fenders ,etc)thus working with a 351w engine, battery ,electric fuel pump, module and distributor all wired together(temporarily) in accordance with a diagram I got at this sight.
Actually we checked one spark plug and got it to fire, but only one time today we changed the coil, distributor, module and rechecked all connections,
We ran out of ideas will get back on it Friday am mean time if anyone can suggest any thing I may be overlooking please let me know.
The module and starter relay are grounded to the frame.
