I was out for a few hours yesterday with the boat (breaking in fresh rebuild) and the river is back to normal stage. It is very interesting to see how high it was all over though. There is crap all over the place that washed away from peoples yards and whatnot.

At work yesterday I was surprised how much the creeks have changed from the flood. Lots of places in the creeks have either gotten deeper or shallower. One very nice thing about it all is the creeks are all cleaned out now. No more loom, weeds, duck weed, etc.

Me too! I heard from one of the BC members they had a blizzard white out conditions in the mountains above the treeline!

I think it is a nice day to go out and put the last 3 hours on the outboard following the break in procedure in the shop manual.

Now that sounds like a great idea, wish I could go out on the lake today, but this damn job gets in the way all the time!

haha, I forget stuff all the time. After posting that it was a nice day to go out on the boat I got a call to go to work and drive the work boat instead of my fishing boat.
