I just have a quick question. If I install a 6.0 trans cooler on my 02 ex 7.3 will it make it run to cool if it is a daily driver and not doing any towing right now? I have heard there is a temperature range the trans needs to operate at. Thanks JIMBOEX

I doubt it. I installed one on my V10 and the lower range temps while not towing really aren't much different.
I have a 26 row cooler on mine and whether I'm towing, cruising, on the freeway or sitting in traffic, it made a difference. Cuising, trans temps don't usually exceed 150 or 160 sitting in traffic it's little higher, but for the most part it's considerably cooler than when I had the stock 7.3 cooler. Whether you're stock or modded like me, I'd definitely recommend it.

Hello Scott,
I have a Cequent front hitch receiver on my V10. Will the 6.0 trans cooler still fit? I was considering getting one since I noticed my trans temp started to climb towing yesterday.

Don't know. Someone else will have to answer that one but my guess is yes.
