my a/c is not working, I was told there was blockage in one of the lines, they dont know exactly where. how hard is it to change seals and can I blow out the existing lines to clear them, is there a rebuild kit these people want to charge me $500.00 bucks to get it working the truck is a 1992 f150 it has already been changed over to r135 how much should this be costing me any help would be appreciated

x2 on the orifice tube. yes, the parts store sells an O-ring kit for the ac system and it shouldn't be a problem to blow hoses out as long as you're only blowing the hoses out..not the dryer etc. AC guys always charge alot.

What leads "them" to believe there is a clog?
If there really is a blockage the debris had to come from somewhere, likely the compressor or a ruptured desiccant bag in the accumulator. Both are expensive fixes.
Without knowing the system pressures you are shooting in the dark.
F3fitty, your problem is not a blockage. Most likely your fan clutch is bad, you have the classic symptoms of a failed fan clutch.
