I had problems with the deer getting into my peas. I moved my garden up closer to the house, and close to my tool shed, put a motion light on the side of the shed to cover said garden, and use a pie plate and a sweaty shirt for a scarecrow. They stopped fooling with it. I kinda wish they would since I need some easy meat in the freezer.....
I spent the entire 3 day weekend moving my tool shop from a small building into a bigger one (the one with the light next to the garden). Thought I would have time to knock out that move and tinker with the wife's Jeep. I was so sadly mistaken. I got the move part complete, but I've got a shed full of tools and miscellaneous junk still out on the floor that still has to be organized. I had no idea how much stuff I had managed to squirrel away into various nooks and crannies in the small building.... I've got at least another weekend's worth of work to do....
OH, for those interested, Sept 11 is the Muscadine Festival in Pelahatchie, MS! Exit 68 off I-20.

I had a neighbor give me an acetylene rig Friday with partial filled tanks. Its a fairly cheap setup & needs new hoses, but beats hell outa' a propane torch. He's moving & is wanting to thin down his "stuff". Also has a Shop Smith multi-tool (only about 2 years old) that he wants to sell. Wish I could afford the $500 aking price...

David if the Shop Smith is complete that is a great deal. I paid $1200.00 for one back in the 80's. Gave it to my preacher son a couple years ago. Maybe he will use it before he gets to old. We had a great Labor Day weekend. The Son tha tis working in Iowa flew home so we got to visit with him some. Guess I will kindly take it easy for the next couple weeks in that I am having some skin cancers removed from my face. They will only do one at a time. Would have liked to have done them all at the same time and got through with it. Harley

Forgot to mention that they are having a car/truck show at Noxapater the 25th of this month. There will be some 55-56 Fairlanes and some T-birds there. Not sure what else. Noxapater is between Louisville and Philidelphia on Highway 15 if you are interested. I plan on checking it out. Harley
