Morning guys!

Sounds like the GTG went well. I was hoping to see some pics. I wish I could have made it. Glad to hear Jay's trans is working after ya'll tore in to it. As long as there were no EXTRA parts after the install, you should have gotten it fixed. LOL

Good morning Troy!!!!

We didn't have to pull it, but the shift kit came with some pump mods, and a couple other internal mods that were well worth it. So we went with it. I called a friend of mine that does transmissions for a living and he recommended it highly!

LOL on the bolts, I didn't even think of it at the time. I should have painted one Green, and one Gold too! May have to loosen some bolts on Dale's truck too now.

Hey Dave! That makes sense to pull it and do those mods now and you guys had experience in doing that! LOL Hopefully this solves all of his problems.

Hey guys. May need that tranny jack again. Something is definitely not right. I still feel that rattle through my floor board Dave and there is something that just does not sound right when under moderate acceleration. An extra rattle or rumble that was not there before. And when you shut the truck off there is a distinct shudder. Like a loose motor mount almost...the whole truck gives a little shake/shudder.

Sorry to hear about your tranny issues Jay.

I am thinking about doing Hutch mod, fuel line crossover from Riffraff, and maybe the John Wood valve body. The cross over seems simple but the Hutch mod could be a pain since simple Diy stuff kicks my but. How did it go for U Jay. The valve body kinda scares me too, little parts big fingers.

Jay, the only thing that would make sense to me there is that one of the pistons or springs is held up in the valve body. That's my first guess anyway. I only did a few of them myself, so I'm not sure if any of them felt funny somehow. Maybe Mike can chime in if he experienced any that felt funny...

Since i got the full tugger kit I figured it would be a shame to only do the valve body so we pulled the trans and did the pump mods and such but something is not quite right. I am not sure where to go from here.

Hutch mod is EAAAAASSSSSSYYYYY.

Hey Dave. Honestly my first thought was torque converter sticking but not really sure if that is even possible. Valve bodies wouldn't be so bad. Just messy and a bit of a pain.

Yeah, that's why I am thinking something sticking in the VB. It could make it feel like the torque converter sticking. I have to do some research on the other pump mods too, just to see if all need to be done. The one thing that worried me before, and now, is that one hole it talked about plugging..
