Yep. I go to an OWWM gettogether every fall. It's called ArnFest. Down in IL, at the Illinois Railway Museum.

I'm going down with lots of machines that I've sold and coming back pretty light. I guess I have a parts machine bandsaw and some clamps coming back.

 

Good evening guys, just got home from the GTG. I hope everything works OK in Jay's trans, I had to leave before all the fluid was poured back in and the test drive completed.

 

Nice to meet you all! Jay's transmission seemed to be fine when I left. The trans was full and the it would move forward and back.

Thanks again for going and getting that jack, it sure made the install go good.

 

Evening guys! Well Jay went for a test drive, and then came back for a check of the weird noise. After tightening a couple bolts we missed on the carrier bearing, (like Toms) it seemed pretty good.

It seemed to shift good without that issue it had before. So after a little driving, he will have to let us know!

That's good to hear Dave, and those damn bolts have a way of being forgotten don't they???

Now that we know what is involved in installing a Trans Go kit, I'd say we could do it in 2/3 less time next time. LOL

 

Yeah, the same one's we told Tom we left loose too! LOL
