Good late morning all - back from round 1 of errand running.

Stocked up on oil filters for the new one today. Helps having a friend in Ford service, since I got them for 3 bucks a piece. I did a double-take on the invoice...lol.

lol Pat - I thought about cases, but don't need that many. I just bought 3, that should do me for a while.

Would be nice if they both used the same filter. You'd need cases then, especially as many mile as yo drive.

Yeah, they do take different filters, which is a bummer. The ones for the Explorer are also about twice as much, and a bit longer, surprisingly enough. It's alright, since the Explorer's gonna be sitting for a while other than to move it into storage or whatever before I start working on it.

Please don't say you're going to remove the "Premium rust package". That's probably at least a $5,000.00 option.

lol - the body shop that priced it about 2 months ago said it was a $4500 one...
