This is a very tired thread, but I've got a question that I haven't found directly addressed in either Ken's article or the forums.
I've got a front drum F100; I've got a master cylinder and booster from a '73 front disc. I believe that all I need to change (besides spindles and lines, of course) is the proportioning valve. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.
Could I jump in here and ask a related question??
Why would a proportioning valve be different (smaller) on a '73 F250, verses a '78 F150?? I'm doing a disc swap on an Econoline van using stuff from the '73 F250, and the Prop. valve is smaller than that on my '78 F150. Thanks!
