Electric Window Problems

OK so my windows seem to have been working on and off lately and I had just not had time to mess with it or think about it, but today I started trying to figure it out and I now no how to make them work. The bad part is the drivers door has to be open for any of the electric windows to work, does not matter which window switch I use. Not sure why yet though, any ideas???

My first thought would be the harness going to the switches on the drivers door in the door jam, since this is the master side and possible wiring is affected when the door is closed? Just an initial thought, probably something pertaining to the window lock switch would be my first place to look.

I'm no lecytrician expert, but it almost sounds like a grounding issue. The door having to be open seems to be the clue there. I'd check the wires running between your door and the truck first. Look for crimps/cuts/burns.
