Temp rattle-can interior resto?
My 86' interior is in pretty decent shape minus the dash pad and door panels. (thanks texas summers!) I was considering doing a direct to plastic primer and some spray paint on the plastic parts of the door panels until i can afford a decent resto job. Any success stories using a similar method or suggestions? I know i'm bound to lose a bit of the original texture, but i think i can deal. Thanks guys.

About 2 years ago I painted my dash top and door panels with rubberized rocker paint. It has held up really well and looks ok for a truck. It goes on pretty thick and has a bit of texture which helps hide scratches.
The rest of the dash and anything hard plastic was painted with Krylon for plastic satin black. It has held up well too. It looked too shiny when I first sprayed it but has since faded to the satin finish I wanted.
