7 pin power
Hey Folks, I am trying to find where the 12V + to the 7 pin trailer connector comes from so i can wire it so the truck doesn't need to be on to supply power to my camper?? I have a dual battery set up so running down battery isnt an issue. Can anyone help? Thanks!!!

Go down to about page 207 to find the Fuses and Relay's section. There are diagrams in that section of the Power Distribution Box under the hood, and the Central Junction Box under the dash. It appears the Trailer Tow Battery Charge relay is relay #301 in the Central Junction Box.
Now. That doesn't really help you much with wiring colors and stuff. It'll get you to the relay and you might be able to pull the CJB and figure out what wires go where on the connectors on the box. You may need to find a service manual with wiring diagrams, though. I use ALLDATAdiy.com :: Leading Source of Diagnostic and Repair Information. It is a subscription based service that has the Ford service manuals with all the wiring diagrams you could every hope for.
P.S. You MUST have an isolated battery setup if you want to run a hot all the time wire to your trailer connector and run an RV off of it. If you don't have this you will run down your starting battery(s) and be in a world of hurt if you're out in the middle of nowhere somewhere.
