Sputtering?
I finally think I have my 89 F250 with a 351w back running. I took it out yesterday and it ran great. I took it out today and everything was great until I pulled back in my drive way and put the truck in reverse. When I did that the truck started to shake and sounded like it was going to sputter out and die. I put the truck in netural and let it roll down the hill. It never shut off and once in netural idled fine. I put the truck in drive and it did the same type of thing. So I shut the truck off. and turned it back on, put it in drive and it drove fine in the driveway again. Any ideas?
I ran the codes, nothing I got a pass code. The truck has a new fuel pump(high pressure) fuel filter, fuel lines and fuel pressure regulator. So i'm pretty sure its nothing to do with fuel. so air or spark then?
