extended warranty
I have a 2006 F250 4x4 4door diesel. I just turned over 100000 mi. Now the ford is no longer warranting it should I get an extended warranty. If so how long, what kind, what company. Any thoughts you have would be appreated.

warranty
i bought an03 6.0 3 yrs ago with 101,000 on it .a fleet truck.i figured if it had 101 with no problems it was a good one. fast forward to today with 182,000 on her and still running like dream.if it started out good and was properly maintained it will will probobly be like mine. if it went 100 without problems it's one of the many good ones.stay on top with a good p-m program and happy motoring.

Now I'm the other way. I have an 04 with the 6.0. What a turd. I bought it with 70k miles on it and didnt buy the extended warranty. What do you know the motor blew at 111k miles (cust pay $15.8k installed). Shortly there after I had a couple injectors go out. Then had the turbo go out. And last week the FICM went out. Biggest piece of ........ I have ever owned. The is a special cliff somewhere who is missing a F 250 driving off it.
