Time to turn the calendar over and head into July now. The year's rolling by quick, yet again. I swear as we age the time goes faster and faster. Anyhow, the season of vacations, picnics, and all things summer is in high gear and we dive right in with a holiday this coming Thursday already with Independence Day. So be sure to get out there and have fun doing whatever it is you choose to do.

I'm pretty well sunburnt to a crisp and beat from a show today in Ligonier, so, I'm checking out for the night. You guys know what to do, so, do it

Good morning, Pennsyltucky! Welcome to July and a 3-day work week!

 

Morning Jason and everyone else...yup, 3 day week here too so I've got a lot of ground to cover.

 

O i know that feeling. 3 days here too but it is month end close so it is 3 12-14 hour days

 

Morning Bill, Ron, Travis, Jason and anyone that I missed. 3 day week and end of the month here and then on vacation until the 15th. Hope that your day is going well.

 

Spent the entire weekend detailing the Super. Came in to the house at 9:30 last night. The wife said, "You know you didn't do anything all weekend except clean your truck. You know that right?" I said, "I know. I'm exhausted, but doesn't it look gorgeous?!" She gave me a dirty look, went upstairs & went to bed. Oops!

Jason, this is a good thing that I don't have a significant other in my life...lol. I can imagine the hell I'd catch with how much time I spend on cleaning/detailing/repairing stuff...lol.

 

OUCH, sounds like someone is on the "bad list". I was thinking about taking some time yesterday to wash and wax the 150 but that thought went quickly out of my mind because I needed a day to rest yesterday.

 

Actually, I think she might not even blink when I take it to a detailer in the future now!

I'm bad when it comes to waxing trucks, I think I have only wax one truck and that was a long time ago. I just bought a bottle of Meguiars Hybrid Wax last night so next time I wash my truck I'll try that.

Well.... It doesn't last long. I went home for lunch. I guess the township tarred & chipped this morning....

 

That is one thing that I really hate about summer time. You spend all of that time getting it all pretty and in 0.05 seconds...... it is all messed up.

I don't think the municipality around my house uses tar and chip, thankfully. But a lot of the other local ones do where I drive. Hate that mess...lol.
