391 headers?

391 headers?
Any body know of any headers for a 391 in a '76 F 600? The heat crossover tubes for the intake manifold are in the center on these heads as opposed to the rear as in the 390 so I am reluctant to try that, I think that I would need the heat for the manifold up here in Massachusetts,

Unless you go custom, I seriously doubt anyone ever made headers for a 391, especially with the center heat crossover. From what I've seen the stock manifolds for the FTs are not all that bad, at least they aren't a complete "log" like the FE manifolds.
Are you looking for performance, or some other reason for headers like having to replace the manifolds because they are cracked?

Hey, thanks for the response. Yeah you're right they don't look to restrictive, but I guess for low rpm torque restriction is kind of the name of the game. Just a few broken studs at the collector ends, not to bad of a fix, I'm just trying to get my options in order. Thanks...

The 361/391 heads have inserts in the intake and exhaust ports and crome moly, sodium filled valves. I think I'll probably end up sticking with the stock exhaust manifolds.
