79 stepside long box
Does anyone know what the value on a 79' long bed stepside with, working factory air, 104k miles, 351M, 4 speed, in good condition would be? Thinking about buying one I seen on craigslist but i cant nail the guy down on a price. Whats a fair offer? Here's his ad if anyone can check it out and give me a fair estimate I would appreciate it. Thanks

I'm sure it will vary by location and exact condition, but I just paid $3500 for a '79 F-250 with a 351 (he thought 400, but the valve cover says 351, so who knows?) 4WD with 4-speed, in good shape for its age but with some rust in the bed.

that is a cool lucking truck. If it is clean and no rust and runs good it could be worth up to 5000 dollars if you have the money for it. But really its up to how bad you want it or how much he has into it. I doubt you would get it for less than 2000 but it sounds like he is very negotiable on price. What do you have to trade? What is it worth to YOU?

What is the guys name? I looked at a truck that looked just like that here in Colorado. I know it is a long way from Colorado to Florida, but the wheels, stance and all that is the same. Take a good look. I saw a lot of rust in the bed panels. Truck sounds good, and the drop is cool looking. Like I said, not sure if it is the same truck or not. The one up here was going for 3500. Wasn't willing to pay that for the shape it was in.
