keep the boss bearing you have now. you would have to break in a new one and the thump may be more often

Ok I went out and got a quick video in hopes that maybe you guys n gals can hear what it is I'm hearing. It does seem to either stop or ease way off when you rev it up so I'm leaning towards the lose flexplate. At least thats what I'm hoping. Anyway I posted this on youtube so it may take abit for it to finish processing...

Header gasket leak? You might want to go thru the header bolts, and ck them.

I still hear the noise, its just not as bad as before. I pulled the motor and torqued the flexplate bolts down because they were lose enuff to turn by hand. I'm wondering now if some of that noise might be from the shield that goes between the motor and tranny but I'm not sure...
