TFI Relocation

I have a burned out TFI module and I was considered fabricating a remote mount for it. Just wondering if anybody here has done this and could share any experiences?

TFI Relocation

I would think that since 92 and newer Bronc's and F-series had the TFI moved to the driver's inner fender, you could perform a relocation with primarily, if not all, stock Ford components. A schematic and some connector relocations along with that heat sink Ford used and moving the TFI module should be a relatively painless endeavor. Someone may know how I'm dead wrong about this but, since Ford relocated it for the express purpose of reducing heat related failures, I should think it would be something owners of engines/vehicles with the distributor mounted TFI would jump at the chance to do. Just an opinion but if Ford can do it, some one else has figured out how as well.
