I won't suggest doing what I did with a Toyota of similar vintage... roof patch cloth, marine body filler, roofing patch compound, and spray foam. Still, I can drive that thing in the rain now without needng to wetvac the carpets afterwards.
You should be able to find parts at just about any salvage yard as well as the large aftermarket supply. The bodies didn't change from 1975 until 1991 only minor changes like the grilles going from round lights to square the f-o-r-d letters being removed from the hood and rear door. ect... I don't know where you are located but the salvage yards I've been to in Wv, Va, Sc, Nc,, and Fl have all had at least a couple of these sitting around. I have a couple of these so I pick up extras now and then and right now they are readily available.
