engine temp gauge
alright guys, my engine temp guage in my truck doesnt like to work, so i figured i would just wire it from the sensor to a new one. will a water temp guage work if i use it because a guy told me it would, but i wasnt completley sure. also is the sensor for it located on the manifold or somewhere else on the motor? thanks

Gauge sensor will still be on the intake since the water passage is the same for carb and EFI motors, it's likely on the thermostat housing but could also be in the same spot as the EFI dash sensor, look for a single wire with a right angle boot that is pushed on a stud in the sensor.
