Start disconnecting stuff. First disconnect the battery then put a pan under the rad and open the drain. Next remove everything attached to the upper intake and then remove it. Once the rad is drained remove the hoses and jerk it out. Now disconnect all the engine wiring and put it aside, don't forget all the grounds and particularly the big one going to the chassis. Also remove the accessories and brackets. Then disconnect and remove the exhaust Y pipe, remove the starter, remove the access panel and disconnect the torque converter, and then the main bolts connecting the engine and trans. Only thing left holding it in there should be the engine mounts, I like removing the single bolt attaching them to the chassis from underneath. Attach a hoist and take the weight of the motor off the mounts, and then grab the front of the motor and wiggle it lose from the trans. Pull the motor forward a little and turn it diagonally across the engine bay as you lift it out.
