I have a '96 F150. 300cid straight 6. I have two fuel tanks, and I have noticed that while driving, and when it's sitting in hot weather the front tank will fill itself with fuel from the rear tank. The fuel pump in the front tank is inoperative. Will replacing the fuel pump fix my problems? Or is it somethiing else as well? And does anybody have some sort of diagram as to what the fuel delivery system looks like and what components are along the fuel line?

Reason: spelling
You need a new fuel pump for front tank; my 93 F150 with 300 engine is doing the exact same thing. I am putting a new fuel pump assembley with new float and sending unit in the front tank, this will stop the rear pump from filling the front.
Ok so all I need to do is replace the fuel pump assembly in my front tank. Is the whole assembly called the "Fuel Delivery Module"? Can i buy the whole assembly or is it sold in a few pieces?
Correct, you will need a complete Fuel Delivery Module. I am not sure if you could get the components separately. For reference here is a description of the components that comprise the FDM:
The fuel delivery module includes a high-pressure fuel pump, venturi jet pump, supply check valve, and a shuttle selector valve located internally to a reservoir mounted from the fuel tank sender flange.
