ok so i have a 88 ford f150 and as most(all) of u should know it has a bench seat... well the bench seat is pretty damn uncomfortable so i wanted to look at putting bucket seats in for more comfort and space... does anyone know where i can get a set of seat easily? wut im looking for specifically is seats like in this bronco 1993 ford bronco 1,300 OBO .... i like the material used and the shape
You just need to make sure you measure the bolt holes in your truck and in the donor truck or bronco. I picked some bucket seats from a 90 bronco and 90 F-150 ext. cab and the brackets did not fit my truck (1987). The only model that I could find brackets to fit was a 1986 bronco.
I am sure more models will work, thats all the boneyard had that would fit mine. Maybe someone else knows what other models brackets will work and post it for you.
You can also buy brackets from broncograveyard for about $160 a set if you can not find any in a boneyard.
These are awesome seats, cheap, and they have a large variety of fabrics, and also different seats. Check out the site, they have almost every bracket you could need.
oh and my truck has a bench as mentioned before some im sure the bracets will be diferent so im not scared to actually drill into my floorboard :P so if it doesnt fit stock meh :P
