Could someone tell me what I should do PLEASE!!!
I have a 1991 Bronco hooker headers and dual 40 series flowmasters. My question is should I have a O2 sensor on it? I do not have one because it used to have dual converters on it so I cut them off and had mechanic install the exhaust but the O2 sensor was not put back on is this good or bad? Also do I even need an air pump on my truck if i have no converter?
ok first of all, if you don't run the o2 sensors, you're truck only uses the preprogrammed tables to keep the motor running, granted it will run like this but probably not to optimal potential. As far as an air pump goes, if you're not running the converters, it doesn't do any good to have the air pump, you might as well remove that too and save a few pounds... hope this helps...Larry
