My brother is trying to change his brake rotors and can't figure out how to get the lock ring out of the hub. He already removed the snap ring and is now trying to get to the axle nut.
I'm a Jeep guy and my brother has been working on Front Wheel Drives so now that he has a 95 Bronco XLT with the 351 he needs to get this done and get it back on the road.
Any pictures would be great help. I've tried searching but like I said I'm a Jeep guy so I haven't pulled the hubs off a Ford yet.
he just has to align it with the threaded shaft so he can pull it out, while he is at it, tell him to replace those hubs with manuals from Warn or Mile Marker.

He's probably looking at it and doesn't even know it. On the autos the hub nut fills the inside of the rotor with only about .25" of clearance and is rounded at the corners. If he goes to AutoZone and gets the "socket" (looks more like an old school bell without the handle) he'll figure it out right away if he's as far as getting the snap ring and all the washers and adjusters out.
