SD mirrors on OBS

Was headed to Dallas the other day and saw this along the way. Sorry bout the pics. Took em on my phone. I wonder how well they'd fit in place of the triangle window?

I was looking for something to do with my mirrors not long ago, got it taken care of. Man, I don't like that...

I have heard of it done. You loose the window and the mirrors sit higher than the ones in these pics.
I don't think I would like it. This job looked butchered up for sure. Is that duct tape where the window was?

These were obviously mounted lower to make them more usable but with them hanging down over the door it looks terrible in my opinion.

I don't like it either like that. Looks like #2. I think it's wood painted white. I guess if it was in the full window slot it would look better but not be near as functional.

I have thought about this before. And after looking at it, i believe chevrolets version of fords big mirrors would look better. I think that the square lines of that mirror would look better, instead of the round ones of the ford.

That actually makes those rotating flip up mirrors on the new Dodge not seem so bad. That's the worst looking idea I think I've seen.

Yeap, Im with you, I dont like them, and more if you dont tow to much, they are overkill for a DD, IMHO.
